Just make it really simple.
I met Marla Hedman through my love of sailing and this gal is full of vibrance! She asked me to help her design a resume and business card for her sailing business “beamreaching.com” and the “norm” just wouldn’t fit her shining personality. We came up with some great colors and packed a lot of punch into a small space for her first resume. We both love working with colorful designs. This year though we changed up her resume and biz card to a little more subdued. Her website is pretty basic because she’s so busy sailing, she doesn’t have time to add any more details. But it’s a presence and that’s all she’s looking for.
